FAIRY COTTAGES

Our custom Fairy Cottages are hand crafted from materials gathered from the forest floor. No live woods are used in their construction. Woods from Oak, Maple, Sweet Gum, Ash and Tulip Poplar are used in making the walls of the cottage. Wood for the front door is cut from Oak branches. Various mosses and dried flowers are used to add the outdoor touch to the cottage. The roof is shingled with pine cone petals from both Loblolly and White Pine cones. The only metal used is a short section of brass tubing for the chimney. With a floor plan of only 4 inches by 4 inches our Fairy Cottages are designed to fit on a bookshelf, headboard or mantelpiece to attract the fairies into your home.

Each fairy cottage is a unique work of art and is numbered and signed by the artist and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. As they are unique works of art no two Fairy Cottages are the same. The feather butterfly is a signature feature of Fairy Cottages by Crystal Pocket Studios.

We offer two types of Fairy Cottages. The standard cottage and a custom illuminated cottage. A special battery operated low level yellow LED is used inside the cottage. In a darkened room it looks just like the inside of the cottage is illuminated by a tiny Fairy candle. The artist is open to custom commissions. If you would like special stones, crystals or flowers to decorate your Fairy Cottage, write to us and we will be happy to send you a price quote and delivery date. Please allow two to three weeks as these are custom works of art and some of the steps in construction can not be rushed.
